Château Haut-Marbuzet

France

Haut-Marbuzet is a family-owned estate in Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, run by the Duboscq family across generations. Built from the original parcel acquired by Hervé Duboscq and expanded over time, the property is now managed by Henri Duboscq with his sons, with Henri also serving as winemaker. The vineyards are planted predominantly to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, on gravelly soils typical of the appellation. In the vineyard, the estate avoids chemical weed killers and relies on ploughing and hoeing for soil management. No formal organic, biodynamic, or other sustainability certifications are mentioned.
