Château de Charodon

France

Château de Charodon is a family-run Burgundy project founded in 2010 by Louis Vallet and operated with his brother Thibault and father Bernard. Based at the château in Montagny-les-Beaune, it combines estate activity with a négociant business while keeping winemaking under Louis’s direction. The family farms its long-term leased vineyards organically, with biodynamic influences, and is described as sustainable. In the cellar, Louis uses indigenous yeasts and extended aging in French oak. The style centers on Burgundy Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a recently added modern winery supporting the estate’s continued development.
