Château d’Aydie is a family-owned estate in Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, managed by the Laplace family since 1927 across four generations. Its vineyards occupy varied clay, limestone, gravel and rounded-pebble soils, with plots selected according to terroir and wine style. The estate focuses particularly on expressing Tannat, using careful handling and micro-oxygenation, a technique developed on-site in 1991 by Patrick Ducournau. HVE-certified, it produces red and white wines shaped by the region’s maritime climate, Pyrenean influence and diverse slopes. Its historic references include Château d’Aydie and Odé d’Aydie.
