Ceretto is a third-generation family winery founded in 1937 in Piedmont's Langhe region. With vineyards covering approximately 160 hectares and an annual production of about 1.2 million bottles, it operates at a significant scale. The family, led by brothers Bruno and Marcello Ceretto and their siblings, has diversified into premium wine imports (Ceretto Terroirs), a luxury hazelnut confectionery brand (Relanghe), and the three-Michelin-starred Piazza Duomo restaurant. A strong commitment to sustainability is evident: all vineyards were converted to organic farming starting in 2010, achieving certification in 2015, and biodynamic practices are now followed. In the cellar, the philosophy is one of minimal intervention, using native yeast fermentations (pied de cuve) and reducing new oak to express terroir. The family is also deeply involved in promoting contemporary art and local culture.
