Ca l’Apotecari is an independent Priorat project founded in 2016 and led in the cellar by Santi Puig. It makes very limited, small-batch, garagiste-style wines from a hand-tended terraced vineyard at Los Perers, on a 450-metre hillside. The vines practice heroic agriculture in Priorat’s thin, rocky soils, rooting into the rock for scarce nutrients amid harsh winters and foggy autumns. With low yields, careful vinification and a minimal-intervention philosophy, the wines focus on expressing their demanding terroir. No formal sustainability certifications are listed.
