Bodegas Angosto is a family-owned winery in Valencia with four generations of agricultural and nursery history dating to 1905, when Modesto Cambra Revert began supplying vines after the phylloxera crisis. The estate works calcareous, clay-lime and sandy-loam soils in a dry continental climate moderated by Mediterranean influence, alongside olive groves, almond and oak trees. Its vineyards average 20 years of age. The family describes itself as farmers, viticulturists and winemakers, seeking elegant, concentrated Mediterranean wines that respect their terroir. The winery focuses on research, the recovery of native and foreign Mediterranean varieties, and sustainable viticulture. Wines are fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts and may receive four months of barrel aging; the property also operates a nursery supplying grape varieties worldwide.
