Chile

Araucano is a Chilean estate in the Lolol Valley of Colchagua, owned by François Lurton and part of Domaines François Lurton’s Chilean portfolio. Its vineyards lie on granite-schist soils and are shaped by cool Pacific breezes, ocean-to-land temperature variation, and the morning “Humo Blanco” mist. The estate has converted to biodynamic production and applies biodynamic winemaking practices; its website also identifies organic viticulture and organic vinification certification categories, with 2020 shown in the certification section. It produces wines from the Colchagua Valley and Lolol appellations.
