FELSENFEST Riesling halbtrocken

Weingut Thielmann & Schinnen is a family-run Mosel estate formed by cousins Jana Thielmann and Christian Schinnen through the merger of the Josef Thielmann and Margaretenhof family wineries in Ernst and Ediger-Eller. The estate focuses on Riesling from steep, slate-rich vineyards, including Valwiger Herrenberg, Cochemer Rosenberg and Ediger Elzhofberg, where all grapes are harvested by hand. Jana leads the winegrowing and Christian the cellar work, supported by family and a small team. Alongside wines from challenging slopes, they produce accessible bottlings from easier sites and offer a broad range of Riesling styles and other varieties. Their work includes environmentally considerate steep-slope viticulture and support for preserving Mosel terraces, complemented by a Straußwirtschaft, wine tavern and holiday apartments.
