Weingut Günter & Regina Triebaumer

Austria

Family-run Weingut Günter + Regina Triebaumer is based in Rust, Burgenland, where the Triebaumer family has lived since 1691. Günter and Regina took over the estate in 2004 and jointly shape its work, with Günter focused on vineyards and cellar and Regina on strategy and sales. Their farming is strongly nature-oriented, using no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides, with mechanical weed control, year-round green cover and vegan wines; they have followed almost all organic practices since 1971 and are certified by Nachhaltig Austria. The estate’s “Rust Core Competence” centres on Blaufränkisch, Furmint, Gelber Muskateller and Ruster Ausbruch, while curiosity also leads them to experiment with varieties such as Cabernet Franc and Syrah. Their wines combine Rust tradition with innovation and a distinctly Burgenland character.
