Producer

Vietti

Italy

Historic producer based in Castiglione Falletto in Piedmont’s Langhe, Vietti was family-owned for five generations before its acquisition by the Krause family in 2016; the Currado family continued to manage the estate until 2023. Its vineyards span Langhe, Roero, Astigiano and Colli Tortonesi, with sustainability central to the estate through Equalitas certification, herbicide-free farming since 2007, reduced interventions, biodiversity work, organic practices, solar power, recycling and composting. Winemaking is shaped by a long-standing team including Eugenio Palumbo, Francesco Cordero, Luca Currado and Beppe Caviola, building on the legacy of Alfredo Currado and Luciana Vietti. Vietti is also known for its Etichette d’Autore, a long-running series of artist-designed labels tied to selected vintages.
