Producer

Tyler Winery

United States

Founded in 2005 by Santa Barbara native Justin Tyler Willett, Tyler is a privately owned California producer with Willett serving as both owner and head winemaker. The winery farms organically and sustainably, including its Mae Estate vineyard, and sources grapes from notable Santa Ynez sites. Its wines reflect a minimal-intervention approach: grapes are often night-picked and hand-harvested, fermented with native yeast, and typically bottled unfined and unfiltered with restrained oak use. Tyler’s Pinot Noir from La Rinconada Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills comes from elder clay loam over shale soils and is aged in French barriques.
