Fine Ruby Port

Quinta do Estanho is a family-owned Douro producer, founded by Jaime Acácio Queiroz Cardoso and under family control for more than 30 years. Based in Vale do Rio Pinhão and Cheires–Alijó, its vineyards occupy steep schist slopes above the River Pinhão, where low-yielding vines produce concentrated, high-quality grapes. The estate focuses on traditional Douro varieties and methods, including hand-harvesting and foot treading in granite lagares, alongside careful maceration and fermentation. Its portfolio spans Port styles from White Reserve and LBV to Vintage and aged Tawny Ports, as well as Douro wines and Bagaceira brandy. Wines are made by oenologist Luís Leocádio and aged in old French-oak balseiros.
