Lagar de Costa is a small, four-generation family estate in Rías Baixas, Galicia, co-owned and guided by Sonia Costa, head winemaker, and her brother Manuel. The estate produces Albariño-based wines from vines averaging 40 years old, using sustainable, hand-harvested viticulture within the Natura 2000 protected area. Its low-intervention approach includes stainless-steel fermentation and wines made without fining, filtration, or sulfites, combining family tradition with innovation.
