Biblia Chora is a privately owned estate in Greece’s Kavala (Pangeon) region, founded and operated by agronomist Vangelis Gerovassiliou and oenologist Vasilis Tsaktsarlis. Its vineyards are organically certified, with no synthetic chemicals and manual pruning and harvesting. The estate focuses on quality-oriented, low-yield viticulture and estate-grown grapes, producing dry whites such as Assyrtiko and Sauvignon Blanc alongside reds including Agiorgitiko, with selected wines aged in new French oak. Its portfolio includes the premium ETOS series. Biblia Chora combines modern winemaking facilities with certifications including ISO 22000, vegan, and the Greek ELLA-DIKA MAS environmental program.
