Domaine Garnier is a family-owned Chablis estate in Ligny-le-Châtel, Burgundy, run by brothers Xavier and Jérôme Garnier. After generations of selling to négociants, the family began estate-bottling in 1996. The domaine works mainly with Petit-Chablis and Chablis from the northern part of the appellation, while also selecting fruit from partner growers for some premier and grand cru wines. Farming is organic, with certification achieved in 2024. In the cellar, the brothers use indigenous yeasts, minimal-intervention methods, and élevage of 12 to 30 months to express the area’s Kimmeridgian limestone soils. The resulting wines are described as bright, saline, pure, and fresh.
