Producer

Enrico Serafino

Italy

Enrico Serafino is a historic Piedmont producer based in Canale, founded in 1878 and rooted in the UNESCO areas of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. Originally family-owned and now fully owned by Krause Holdings, the winery remains focused on artisanal production, with a strong emphasis on Piedmont’s native grapes, single-vineyard expressions and the link between variety, terroir and denomination. It is also notable for longstanding work with Metodo Classico sparkling wines, including Alta Langa, produced in its original underground cellars. Farming is certified organic and supported by VIVA sustainability standards, renewable electricity, recycling, reduced chemical inputs and soil-protection measures. The range spans Barolo, Barbaresco, Alta Langa and other regional wines shaped by elegance, patience and site character.
