Domaine des Hauts de Sanziers is a family-owned Loire estate in Sanziers, Le Puy-Notre-Dame, near Saumur, with a history of winemaking dating to 1771. Operated by Jean-Charles and Jean-François Houët, and tended by the Houët and Tessier families, it has been an independent vigneron for more than 40 years, making its wines from vineyard to market. The clay-limestone vineyards are certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) since 2018. Cabernet Franc predominates, alongside Chenin, Chardonnay and Sauvignon. The domaine produces Saumur, Saumur Champigny, Saumur Puy-Notre-Dame and Crémant de Loire, aiming to express the authentic identity of its terroir.
