Domaine de la Vougeraie

France

Domaine de la Vougeraie is a family-owned estate in Burgundy, created in 1999 by the Boisset family through the consolidation of several vineyards. Owned and operated by third-generation vintners Jean‑Charles and Nathalie Boisset, with patriarch Jean‑Claude still involved, the domaine farms certified organic vineyards and has transitioned to biodynamic practices over the past decade, focusing on low yields (often under 30 hl/ha), lunar‑calendar timing, and phytotherapy. Its portfolio includes Grand Cru parcels such as Clos de Vougeot, Bonnes‑Mares, and Corton‑Charlemagne, as well as Premier Cru sites. The winemaking philosophy emphasizes hand‑crafted, parcel‑specific vinification and aging to express terroir with elegance and precision.
