Château Meyney

France

Château Meyney is a historic Saint-Estèphe estate in Bordeaux, with roots in the 13th century and an official foundation in 1625. Its old massale-selection vines, planted on well-drained siliceous gravel with clay influence and moderated by the Gironde estuary, are central to its identity. Since 2004, the property has been owned by Crédit Agricole and led by Anne Le Naour, whose team focuses on expressing each parcel’s terroir through precise, lot-by-lot winemaking, manual harvests, double sorting, and élevage in French oak. Meyney is also deeply engaged in environmental work, having abandoned herbicides and insecticides, developed biodiversity initiatives, and completed its conversion to organic farming with its first official organic vintage in 2024.
