Château La Tour de By

France

Château La Tour de By is a historic family-owned Médoc estate in Bordeaux, held by the Pagès family since 1965 and under sole ownership of Marc Pagès since 1999. Situated on well-exposed gravel ridges between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic, the vineyard is planted mainly to Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Petit Verdot, including old vines. The estate follows traditional soil work, uses natural compost, and holds Haute Valeur Environnementale certification, with broader ecological measures to support biodiversity and reduce chemical inputs. The property’s long history, old cellars, and hands-on family leadership help define its identity, with wines shaped by classic Médoc terroir and a precise approach in both vineyard and cellar.
