Founded in 1999 by Pedro Pérez Pardo, Bodegas Enguera is a family-run winery in Valencia’s terres del Alforins, now managed by the third generation. Its vineyards in Enguera and Fontanars dels Alforins include Monastrell, Verdil and Marselan, planted across varied riverine, loamy and limestone soils. The estate has followed certified organic farming since 2011 and also holds vegan certification, with a minimal-intervention approach. Through Enguera Planet, the family develops research and sustainability projects including composting winery waste, climate-adaptation trials, disease monitoring and biodiversity enhancement. Bat boxes and other ecological measures support natural control of vineyard pests. Winemaker Diego Fernández Pons crafts wines intended to express their Mediterranean terroir.
