Serego Alighieri is a historic, family-owned estate in Valpolicella Classica, owned by direct descendants of Dante Alighieri since Pietro acquired Casal dei Ronchi in 1353. The family has maintained an uninterrupted viticultural tradition for more than six centuries, with winemaking documented since the 1500s. Since 1973, production and distribution have been carried out in partnership with the Masi Group, while the family retains ownership and management. The estate’s distinctive traditions include a Serego Alighieri clone of Molinara, Appassimento on traditional bamboo racks, and maturation in cherry-wood casks. Its wines focus on Valpolicella styles, particularly Amarone and Recioto, including the iconic Vaio Armaron. The estate also offers tours, tastings, hospitality, and other traditional agricultural products.
