Maison Le Trèfle

France

Maison Le Trèfle is the négoce label created in 2012 by Julien Petitjean, who also owns and runs Domaine de la Roseraie. A former historian turned viticulturist, Petitjean oversees both farming and winemaking, sourcing Maison Le Trèfle fruit from a single 55-year-old vineyard within the domaine and applying the same low-intervention approach. The vineyards are farmed according to organic and biodynamic principles, with cover crops, biodiversity measures, manual harvest, and phytosanitary treatments compliant with organic standards. In the cellar, Petitjean favors natural fermentation, gentle handling, hand-bottling, and wines made without fining, filtration, or added sulfites.
