Producer

E. Guigal

France

E. Guigal is a third-generation family-owned estate founded in 1946 in Ampuis, the heart of Côte-Rôtie. It is the largest producer in that appellation, with over 75 hectares of estate vineyards across premier Northern Rhône sites, including Condrieu and Hermitage. The family has expanded through acquisitions such as Château d’Ampuis, Domaine de Bonserine, and Château de Nalys. Marcel and Philippe Guigal lead winemaking and viticulture, guided by the motto “Nul Bien sans Peine.” The domaine practices sustainable viticulture, holds HVE Level 3 certification, and operates its own cooperage. While a sizable operation, it remains family-run with a focus on heritage, meticulous vineyard care, and crafting prestigious wines.
