2022 · Pouilly Fumé Luminance

Jonathan Pabiot is an artisan vigneron based in Pouilly-sur-Loire, producing Pouilly-Fumé and Pouilly-sur-Loire wines from distinct Loire Valley terroirs. The estate’s vineyards span limestone, caillottes, terres blanches, Kimmeridgian marl and flint-rich soils, with parcels on slopes and terraces near the Loire. Organic farming has been practiced since 2006, with biodynamic certification since 2016, and the vines are worked artisanally with limited ploughing. Jonathan Pabiot took over in 2005 and focuses on simple, respectful winemaking that preserves fruit and expresses each parcel. Cuvées are aged in stainless steel, concrete or oak, including older barrels for some wines, with careful yield management and rigorous parcel selection.
