Château Clauzet

France

Château Clauzet is a Saint-Estèphe estate in Bordeaux, part of the Château La Haye portfolio since its acquisition in 2018, when its identity was preserved. Owned by the Belgian Cardon family through SC Château la Haye, it farms 28 hectares of deep gravel and clay soils, with vines averaging 45 years old. The estate follows sustainable viticulture certified HVE Level 3. Its wines are typically based on Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller proportions of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, and are aged for 12–14 months in oak barrels. Winemaking is overseen with consultant Eric Boissenot.
