Cambria Estate Winery is a family-owned, female-owned estate in Santa Barbara County’s Santa Maria Valley, part of Jackson Family Wines and led by Barbara Banke with Katherine and Julia Jackson. Founded in 1986 on the historic Tepusquet Vineyard, one of the region’s early plantings, Cambria was among the first wineries in the valley. Head winemaker Jill Russell and general manager Denise Shurtleff lead a vineyard-first program focused on block-by-block farming, selective fermentation, and single-vineyard expressions, especially Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate is 100% certified sustainable through CSWA, CCSW, and SIP, with solar power, carbon-farming, water recycling, and major waste-reduction measures at the core of its farming and winemaking.
