Antiche Terre Venete

Italy

Antiche Terre Venete is a family-owned producer founded by Luciano and Riccardo in Valpantena, near Verona, within the Valpolicella DOC area. The winery is surrounded by carefully terraced vineyards planted with Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, trained using traditional Pergola Veronese and modern Guyot systems, with harvesting carried out entirely by hand. Clay-limestone soils and the local Biancone limestone contribute to grape ripening and aromatic development. The two families combine respect for tradition with a modern vision, emphasizing careful cultivation, land preservation and a transition to organic grape production. A new winery incorporating modern oenological technology and solar and photovoltaic energy systems reflects their sustainability focus. Their wines draw on the territory’s heritage, including the traditional appassimento method, while each harvest is treated as an opportunity to learn and evolve.
