2025 · Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

Yarrawood Estate is a Schwaiger family winery in Victoria’s cool-climate Yarra Valley, founded by Erich Schwaiger and now managed by his son Tim. The estate focuses on hand-crafted, single-vineyard wines from its own vineyards, where varied clay, mudstone and loam soils, restricted yields and gradual ripening shape the fruit. Vines are trained on V.S.P. trellises and managed through cane and spur pruning to control canopy vigor. The range spans vibrant, fruit-driven Yarra Valley wines, structured and intensely matured Tall Tales bottlings, and very limited Barrel Select releases from the highest-grade fruit and carefully selected French-oak barrels. Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Shiraz are among the estate’s key varieties.
