JOVEN ROSADO

Viña Ijalba is a family-run Rioja estate founded by Dionisio Ruiz Ijalba, now in its third generation. A pioneer of organic viticulture, it was the region's first ecological winery, certified organic since 1998. The estate focuses on recuperating nearly extinct native Rioja varieties like Graciano, Maturana Tinta, Tempranillo Blanco, and Maturana Blanca, producing wines from vineyards on reclaimed gravel pits and poor soils. The philosophy emphasizes low-intervention winemaking, hand-harvesting, and sustainable soil management.
