Terrazas de los Andes

Argentina

Terrazas de los Andes is a high-altitude estate in Mendoza’s Luján de Cuyo, founded in 1992 by a French-Argentine group and acquired by LVMH in 2008. Under winemaker Hervé Birnie-Scott, it focuses on “Mountain Wines” from Andean terroirs, aiming for layered, elegant, bright and fresh expressions shaped by precise viticulture. Sustainability is a central part of the estate’s identity, with vineyards managed under regenerative-organic practices, Regenerative Organic Certified® holdings, ISO 14001, DNV carbon-footprint verification and the Bodegas de Argentina sustainability protocol. Precision drip irrigation, lightweight bottles and related measures are highlighted for reducing water use and emissions.
