Stellenrust is a family-owned estate in Stellenbosch’s Golden Triangle, with vineyard sites in Helderberg, Bottelary and Devon Valley. With winemaking traditions dating to 1928, the estate combines traditional methods with modern techniques and emphasizes sustainable farming, careful vineyard management and the preservation of old vines. It is particularly associated with mature bush-vine Chenin Blanc, as well as old-vine Cinsaut and site-specific wines from the Golden Triangle. The family describes itself as custodians of old vineyards, guided by passion, chemistry and technique, allowing the vines to express each vintage. Its wines span Kleine Rust, Premium, Super Premium and Curator’s Limited Edition ranges, with a focus on vineyard-driven, terroir-expressive styles.
