Seghesio Family Vineyards is a multigenerational, family-owned winery in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, with roots dating to 1895. It farms more than 300 acres of certified sustainable vineyards across Alexander, Russian River, and Dry Creek Valleys, including hand-farmed, head-trained old-vine blocks and original 1895 Zinfandel plantings at Home Ranch. The estate also preserves the oldest blocks of Sangiovese in North America. Best known for Zinfandel, Seghesio also produces Italian heritage varieties including Sangiovese, Barbera, Arneis, Vermentino, and Aglianico. Winemaker Andy Robinson and viticulture director Ned Neumiller take a terroir-driven approach, using labor-intensive farming, small-lot fermentation, open-top fermenters, rigorous sorting, and indigenous yeasts to craft balanced, pure, characterful, food-friendly wines.
