La Perdida is the natural wine project of grower-winemaker Nacho González in Valdeorras, Galicia. Working with old vines across six vineyard sites, including the rented O Chao parcel in Seadur, González personally selects and manages the vineyards and vinifies in Larouco. The project has roots in family vineyards inherited from his grandmother and later restored. Farming is organic and biodynamic, with cover crops, hand harvesting and foot treading, while cellar work follows a low-intervention approach with no added sulfur, fining or filtration. The wines reflect a focused, artisanal approach grounded in old vines and careful site stewardship.
