Jo Landron is a family-owned Muscadet producer in the Loire Valley, with roots dating to 1945 and led today by Jo Landron, who succeeded his father Pierre and works alongside his wife Jocelyn and family. The estate is centered on Melon de Bourgogne in Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, with vineyards across varied soils including gneiss, amphibolite, clay, sandstone and silica. Farming is low-yield and hand-harvested, with organic conversion begun in 1999, Ecocert certification in 2002, and biodynamic certification in 2011. In the cellar, the focus is on natural winemaking, including wines made unfined and unfiltered and bottled by gravity, with an emphasis on expressing the domaine’s key terroirs.
