Producer

Frescobaldi

Italy

Frescobaldi is a historic, family-owned Tuscan wine group with over 700 years of winemaking tradition. It is a large-scale producer, managing roughly 1,500 hectares of vineyards across ten estates and producing between 7 and 12 million bottles annually. The family emphasizes sustainability through low-impact viticulture practices like dry-stone terraces and bush-trained vines, though no formal certifications are noted. Led by the 30th generation, including Lamberto Frescobaldi, the group also holds a minority stake in Tenuta delle Terre Nere on Etna and runs social projects like the Gorgona prison vineyard initiative.
