Producer

Elderton

Australia

Elderton is a family-owned Barossa Valley producer established by Neil and Lorraine Ashmead in 1982 and now run by second-generation brothers Cameron and Allister Ashmead with Jules and Rebecca Ashmead. Farming spans several Barossa and Eden Valley sites, including historic vineyards dating from 1894 and 1915. Certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, Elderton uses solar power, rainwater harvesting, full winery water recycling, cover crops and native revegetation to support long-term vineyard health. Winemaking is led by Jules (Julie) Ashmead with Brock Harrison. Alongside its estate wines, the family also explores fresher, more playful styles through Small Victories Wine Co.
