Producer

Domaine Pichat

France

Domaine Pichat is a family-owned estate in the Rhône Valley’s Côte-Rôtie, founded and run by third-generation winemaker Stéphane Pichat since 2000. The domaine farms old Syrah vines, averaging around 40 years of age, using organic, low-intervention, terroir-driven practices without formal certification. Winemaking is overseen by Pichat and combines careful hand-harvesting with stainless-steel fermentation, followed by malolactic fermentation in oak and aging in 400L French oak barrels. The approach points to a focused, artisanal producer with a strong personal hand in both vineyard and cellar.
