Domaine Nathalie & Gilles Fevre

France

Domaine Nathalie & Gilles Fevre is a family-run Chablis estate in Fontenay-Près-Chablis, Burgundy, with the Fevre family active in the area since 1745. Nathalie and Gilles, both oenologists, took the domaine out of the La Chablisienne cooperative in 2003 and vinify under their own name, with daughter Julie now contributing her agronomic and oenological expertise. The vineyards lie on Kimmeridgian limestone around Fontenay-Près-Chablis, including older parcels planted by earlier generations. Farming is guided by sustainable, low-intervention methods, with soil work, grass cover, reasoned treatments, and an organic approach on some premier and grand cru sites; the estate has held HVE Level 3 certification since 2015. Winemaking is plot-by-plot, mainly in stainless steel with 10 months on fine lees, with limited oak used for some top cuvées.
