Château Rieussec

France

Château Rieussec is a Premier Cru Sauternes estate at the Fargues–Sauternes junction in Bordeaux, owned since 1984 by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) in partnership with Albert Frere under the oversight of Baron Eric de Rothschild. B Corp certified, the property keeps all vineyards grassed over and has pursued environmentally focused packaging. Its approach emphasizes ultra-low yields and hand harvesting, with winemaking led by Olivier Trégoat and Jean-Philippe Fichet guiding fermentation decisions.
