Producer

Celler Bartolomé

Spain

Celler Bartolomé is a family-owned estate in Bellmunt del Priorat, producing wine since 1997 across steep, terraced vineyards in the Priorat. Its old vines, including Garnacha and Cariñena, range from 30 to over 120 years old and are cultivated with low yields, hand-pruning, mule work and traditional tools. This careful, artisanal approach helps preserve local biodiversity and express the character of the region’s challenging slate terraces. Passed down through generations, the estate combines traditional vineyard practices with modern winemaking technology to create singular, authentic wines while remaining committed to sustainability, without formal organic or biodynamic certification.
