Weingut Seckinger

Germany

Seckinger is a family-owned, biodynamic estate in Germany’s Pfalz, run by brothers Lukas, Philipp and Jonas Seckinger. Working across sites around Ruppertsberg, Deidesheim and Niederkirchen, they focus especially on terroir-driven Riesling and other site-specific wines from Buntsandstein, limestone, loess and limestone-marl soils. Farming emphasizes biodiversity and handwork in many forest-edge vineyards. In the cellar, Jonas leads a low-intervention approach with spontaneous fermentation, wooden casks, no fining agents, long lees aging and limited manipulation to preserve natural aroma and vintage character. The brothers aim for single-vineyard and single-parcel wines that clearly express place, acidity, structure and soil character.
