Tenuta Garetto

Italy

Tenuta Garetto is a 10-hectare single-vineyard estate in Agliano Terme, in the heart of the Nizza DOCG, historically suited to Barbera. Acquired by the Gagliardo family in 2017, it is managed by Stefano and Alberto Gagliardo, while the Garetto family continues day-to-day operations. The estate includes old Barbera vines planted between 1935 and 1950, alongside more recent plantings, with winemaking carried out in the cellar beside the vineyards under Stefano Gagliardo’s direction. Farming is transitioning to organic practices, with an emphasis on low environmental impact, although no formal certification is cited.
