SETTE is a small producer based in Nizza, Monferrato, in Piedmont’s Bricco di Nizza. The estate was purchased in 2017 by Gianluca Colombo and Gino Della Porta, with Gregorio also cited as part of the project. The vineyards, ranging from 20 to 75 years old, were taken over from conventional farming and converted to organic, with certification from 2018 and a move toward biodynamic practice since 2020. SETTE also emphasizes biodiversity through annual planting of old local fruit-tree varieties and tall trees. Its soils include sandy limestone, chalk, and varied siliceous soils. Older-vine wines are released under the SETTE label, while fruit from younger vines goes into the 1-liter Mille Millilitr bottlings.
