Ronsel do Sil is a family-run winery in Parada de Sil, in Ribeira Sacra’s Ribeiras do Sil subzone, founded in 2010 in a rehabilitated former wine press. Led by the Yravedra family, with María José Yravedra directing viticulture and winemaking, it focuses on indigenous Galician varieties and the expression of site and vintage. Vineyards on steep terraced bancales are harvested by hand, with natural and biodynamic principles including gorse composting, sheep grazing, hand pruning and low-intervention winemaking, although the estate is not formally certified. Its wines include Mencía, Merenzao, Godello, Treixadura and Dona Branca, made in youthful styles with some brief French and American oak ageing.
