Ottella

Italy

Founded in 1905, Ottella is a fourth-generation, family-owned winery led by the Montresor family in San Benedetto di Lugana, on Lake Garda’s southern shore. Its 90 hectares lie in the Lugana Classica area, where glacial morainic soils rich in clay, limestone and minerals provide the setting for its focus on native Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana). The winery combines modern winemaking with respect for the essential relationship between soil and variety, seeking distinctive, recognizable wines. Ottella is SQNPI- and Equalitas-certified, with integrated vineyard management, photovoltaic panels and wastewater treatment, and reports on its sustainability performance. Wine, art and nature are central to its identity, expressed through hospitality and support for contemporary art and local cultural heritage.
