Ngeringa is a family-run biodynamic winery in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills, farmed by Janet and Erinn Klein at Mount Barker Summit. Its three vineyard sites cover five hectares within a biodiverse 75-hectare farm, with loam-over-clay soils influenced by ironstone and micaceous schist. Certified biodynamic since the 1980s, the estate avoids pesticides, synthetic fertilisers and insecticides, while supporting native revegetation, orchards and free-range livestock. Ngeringa produces premium small-batch wines through a meticulous, minimal-intervention approach, including expressive Sheoak wines and distinctive Single Vineyard bottlings selected from Summit and Iluma. The wines aim to reflect their sites, seasons and vine-to-glass philosophy, with some releases made in very limited quantities.
