Mazzei is a historic family-owned Tuscan producer, run by the 25th generation of the Mazzei family, with roots at Castello di Fonterutoli dating back to 1435. Alongside its Tuscan estates, it also works in Sicily at Zisola. The range includes Chianti Classico, Super Tuscans, Vermentino and Sicilian wines such as Nero d’Avola, as well as olive oil and grappa. Sustainability is a clear focus: the estate has practiced organic farming since 2006, with certification for the Madreterra line, glyphosate-free viticulture, reduced fertiliser use, cover crops, weather-based treatments, lower copper use and recyclable packaging. Mazzei also offers wine tours, hospitality and a members’ wine club.
