Producer

Mataburro

France

Mataburro is an independent, boutique producer in Rivesaltes, Roussillon, founded by former sommelier Laurent Roger and his partner Mélissa Ingrand. Working from family vineyards on clay-limestone soils in a Mediterranean climate, they farm organically and biodynamically, with a natural-wine approach that includes no added sulphur. Laurent Roger leads the winemaking, producing small-batch red and white blends that aim to reflect the local terroir. Alongside estate fruit, Mataburro also sources some grapes from nearby organic growers for limited cuvées.
