Echo de Lynch-Bages

France

Echo de Lynch-Bages is the second wine of Château Lynch-Bages, owned and run by the Cazes family (Famille J-M Cazes), now in its fourth generation after acquiring the estate in 1939. The family dedicates approximately 100–110 hectares of vineyards in Pauillac to this wine, representing about 25–40% of the estate's total harvest, though exact bottle output is not disclosed. Production involves hand-picking with vineyard sorting and modern precision viticulture, including satellite technology. The estate holds HVE (High Environmental Value) certification, reflecting sustainable practices. Winemaking has been overseen by family members, notably Jean-Michel Cazes and Jean-Charles Cazes.
